Optimal Nutrition with KTS Liquid Solution

KTS is a neutral to basic (pH 7 – 9), chloride-free, clear liquid solution, containing 36% Potassium and 25% Sulfur.
It can be applied by drip, sprinkler, or flood irrigation.

KTS may be blended with other fertilizers or applied as a foliar treatment on selected crops. When used as a foliar fertilizer, KTS should first be diluted with water before applying.

KTS may be applied to a wide variety of agricultural crops.
Potassium requirements for most crops increase dramatically during periods of rapid growth and fruit development.

Compatibility

KTS is compatible with most other liquid fertilizers within normal concentration ranges, except with those containing calcium, which may cause precipitation of calcium sulfate. Additionally, it is also compatible with most pesticides and fungicides.

Use Instructions

The frequency of **KTS** fertilizing treatment depends on the type of soil
Type	Fertigation Systems
Fruits Apple, Stone Fruits, Tropical Fruits, Citrus Fruits, Kiwi, Avocado, Dates. In addition to: Olives, Pistachio & Almond	Young trees: 2 – 4 liters / 1000 sqm, during the season starting from the completion of leaf growth, once every 3 – 4 weeks. Large trees: 4 – 8 liters / 1000 sqm starting from the completion of leaf growth, once every 3 – 4 weeks.
Grapes	KTS can be fertilized at any time until harvest. Young vines: 2-4 liters / 1000 sqm once every 3-4 weeks. Large vines: 4-8 liters / 1000 sqm once every 2-3 weeks.
Vegetables Tomato, Eggplant, Capsicum	2 – 4 liters / 1000 sqm once every 10 days.
Banana	3 liters / 1000 sqm, in the fruit filling stage then 3 liters / 1000 sqm 15 days before harvest.
Flowers	300 – 400 ml / 1000 sqm once every week during the crop growth period.
Strawberry	2 – 4 liters / 1000 sqm once every 10 days after plant growth and stability.
Watermelon or Cantaloupe	2 – 4 liters / 1000 sqm once every two weeks from the beginning of fruit formation.
Potato	2 – 4 liters / 1000 sqm once every two weeks from the beginning of tuber formation until harvest.

For Foliar application: Apply **KTS** in the early morning or evening when temperature is moderate
Type	Foliar Application
Potato	5 – 10 L/ha, from tubers first appearing Then the second dose when it reaches the size of a golf ball and the third dose at the stage of tuber propagation.
Cotton	5 – 10 L/ha, from the first to the fourth week of flowering.
Alfalfa	10 – 15 L/ha, when the green crown is formed or when regrowth immediately after cutting.
Wheat	5 – 15 L/ha, from the stage of formation of side branches to the stage of flowering.
Tomato	5 – 10 L/ha, every 7 to 14 days starting from fruit formation.
Apple, Apricot, Almond, Citrus Fruits and Nuts	5 – 10 L/ha, in not less than 1000 liters of water spray solution. From early foliage and then as needed during the growing season. For concentrated sprays of less than 1000 L/ha, reduce the KTS to stay within the recommended solution ratio (500 L water/ha equals 2.5 to 7.5 L KTS/ha). The spray solution concentration should not exceed 1.5%.
